About Me
Data Scientist & Machine Learning Engineer
Hi, I'm Pathik Patel. I'm a data scientist and machine learning engineer with a recent MS in Computer Science from UTA. My thesis focused on modeling trust and deception in multi-agent reinforcement learning using a Werewolf game simulation. Through that work, I explored how agents learn, adapt, and interact in uncertain environments.
Beyond research, I've built autonomous UGVs, created end-to-end ETL pipelines, and developed AI-driven tools for real-world use. I enjoy working on systems that combine data, intelligence, and automation to solve complex problems.
My interests lie at the intersection of theory and application. Whether it’s reinforcement learning, robotics, or building scalable AI systems, I’m always eager to dive into new challenges and build solutions that make an impact.
Outside of tech, I’m an automobile enthusiast. I love learning about car design, engineering, and performance tuning. Working on cars or following automotive innovation gives me a different kind of problem-solving joy and keeps my curiosity alive beyond the screen.

Researcher - Multi-agent Reinforcement Learning
Designed a simulation of the Werewolf game to study trust, deception, and strategic role behavior using reinforcement learning. Created symbolic state encoding and Q-learning agents to model communication and voting under uncertainty.
Graduate Teaching Assistant - Unmanned Vehicle Systems
Assisted in teaching Unmanned Vehicle Systems course. Supported student projects, created MATLAB/Simulink models for autonomous UGVs, and explained LiDAR, GPS, and IMU integration. Helped develop motion planning strategies for simulation environments.
